Angelique Jones aka Angie Dime was born and raised in Stratford,Connecticut,she's a mother, Ivy League graduate,Entrepreneur and CEO of both Black Reign Entertainment with business partner, Leroy Cobb,and her other company DimePiece Entertainment;she's a Belaire Black Bottle Girl Model and Actress. It began around the time she was in school,Angie got a knack for acting; school plays and then, community theatre. By the time she attended The Univeristy of Bridgeport, Angelique majored in Business; but minored in Theatre Arts. After taking a few years to raise a family and finish both graduate and post graduate school, Angelique got the acting bug again, and subsequently was offered parts in music videos and television shows like The People's Court and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Black List and numerous Netflix Series as a featured extra, most recently she completed She's Already Trained; an indie short coming in 2017. But, Angelique found her calling playing in the indie feature film, The Black Roses Project, where she played Det. Stephanie Mills directed by Willie Coggins,Sr as well as other indie shorts and a plethora of upcoming indie films and web series. In between,Angelique has walked the runway and photoshoots. There's no doubt you'll be seeing Angelique,(or Angie as her friends call her) on the big screen in no time!

Angelique J:
You're welcome, my pleasure; thank you for talking to me.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in this career?

Angelique J:
I'm an actress and model from Connecticut; I travel to and from NYC a lot to work, auditions, networking etc. I do the aforementioned because they've always been a passion of mine and I enjoy exploring my alter ego side lol

How did you get started in Modeling?

Angelique J:
It all began for me when I did my first mall fashion show whilst in my senior year, then it continued on over the years (on and off) through runway and print work as well.

What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this field?

Angelique J:
I definitely want to secure myself a manager that can help me  flourish in my career as a print/editorial model to be seen in publications and billboards nationwide. I believe with continual hard work, perserverance and deidication that will transpire.

What do you hope to accomplish in modeling

Angelique J:
To become recognized amongst not only my peers but by people I meet when I'm out and about. I want my face to become familiar.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
Do you have any limitations? E.g.(Nudity, lingerie, business attire)Would you model any kind of clothing at all?

Angelique J:
I'm quite flexible as I've done business,fetish and lingerie modeling but I will not do nudity unless it's artistic and/or adequate compensation has been discussed prior.

Angelique J:
That I'm mysterious

Angelique J:
Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford,Naomi Campbell, Liya Kebede, Ashley Graham, Kendall Jenner,Tyson Beckford, Brent Zachary,Wendell Lissimore and Ibrahim Baiith.

Which fashion magazines, websites, blogs,  do you find yourself on the most?

Angelique J:
Vouge,W,WWD,Elle,Paper,Rachel Zoe, Olivia Palermo,Go Fug Yourself,Claire Sulmers,Black Fashion Mag, Lookbook,Mr.Boston,Joe Zee etc.

How would you describe your style?

Angelique J:
Eclectic; I'll wear a mixture of high end and lower end. Well known designers as well as up and coming. I love to bargain hunt.

What advice do you have for other aspiring models?

Angelique J:
To go after your dreams, take modeling classes if you can or watch Youtube on how to walk and pose like I still do, find a mentor to help guide you. Also, doing some time for print with good photographers is crucial, and a great way to build your portfolio. Moreover,networking is paramount you've got to put yourself out there.Lastly, never give up no matter how hard it may get or seem; persistence pays but you've got to put in the work. Believe in yourself

How do you prepare yourself  for a modeling shoot how do you get in your zone?

Angelique J:
I prepare myself by practicing for whatever shoot I'm doing, I meditate to quell my nerves and think positive. 

The Kings Aces Magazine:
How would you describe working with a photographer, Are you shy? what is your mind frame?

Angelique J:
Each photographer is different but I try to build a rapport with him or her beforehand to feel as comfortable as can be if we've never worked together before. Sometimes I am shy until we take a few test shots then I start to warm up and get into the swing of things.

So tell us How has modeling changed your life?

Angelique J:
It's made me feel more confident with my body and to love myself just the way I am.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
Do you do your own hair and make-up or do you have a stylist?

Angelique J:
I do my own hair and makeup but, if I need it professionally done I have a few MUAs I go to;my hair I wear differently but I have someone I go to for that as well. But, I don't have a stylist yet lol

When everything is all said and done, what would you like your fans to say about you and what you brought to the table?

Angelique J:
I'd like my fans to always now me as being nice and  genuine and that I am hardworking, and professional but never thinking I am better than anyone else.
