The Kings Aces Magazine:
Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in this career?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
There are several reasons i chose the modeling industry. First i am a plus size/curvy model, so to provide a positive body image to the plus size woman.
I love fashion, makeup, taking photos, i have been told by many photographers the camera loves me, and i dont take bad pics, which has alot to do with your sucess as a print model.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
How did you get started in Modeling?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
Well first time i started out modeling i was 16, it was a passion, then life happened i got married, had a child and worked in the insurance industry many years. I decided one day that I wanted to start back pursuing my dream so i did. And have been sucuessful and here i am today.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this field?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
Modeling goals include getting as many magazine covers as possible. And Vogue Italia some day. Exposure is key to a successful career in modeling.  A contract with a cosmetic company would be fantastic,  however, i am thinking i  would like to start my own, which is something i am working on.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
What do you hope to accomplish in modeling

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
My aspirations are to bring women together, be uplifting and helpful towards obtaining their goals, whatever they may be. Encourage women of all sizes and ages to beleive in a body positive image.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
Do you have any limitations? E.g.(Nudity, lingerie, business attire)Would you model any kind of clothing at all?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
I will model lingerie, and most any type of clothing. I have not entertained the thought of full on nudity, implied nudity is much more classy and leaves something to the imagination.

What advice do you have for other aspiring models?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
First ask yourself why do you want to be a model ? What motivates you? Its still a job, hard work, with many disappointments and constant rejection. Can you handle that? Invest in yourself, training, and a portfolio that really shows your work and versatility will seperate you from the rest. What type of a model do you want to be. Runway, print, spokesmodel, do your reasearch. And most of all good luck!!

The Kings Aces Magazine:
How do you prepare yourself  for a modeling shoot how do you get in your zone?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
I plan out each and every pose i am going to acheive, by looking in the mirror taking selfies until i get the look i want. I Meditate and pray.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
How would you describe working with a photographer, Are you shy? what is your mind frame?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
I have had the great experiences with most all the photographers i have worked with. I am definately far from shy. I am outgoing and a little goofy to tell the truth. Lol

The Kings Aces Magazine:
So tell us How has modeling changed your life?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
Its given me the opportunity to make money at what i love to do, with a schedule that is demanding, however, much more flexible than a 9 to 5 so my time is free to enjoy my family as well

The Kings Aces Magazine:
Do you do your own preparing or do you have a stylist?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
I do my own preparing for my personal photo shoots, if i am working with a designer then i am at their mercy.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
When everything is all said and done, what would you like your fans to say about you and what you brought to the table?

Jacqueline Migliorie Davis:
When they look at me i would like to be remembered as a risk taker. A plus size model, who took a chance on entering back into the modeling industry, and encouraged women in knowing that beauty should never be defined by a number, and i mean that in many ways ;)
