Ms Rebellious Soul The Model

I'm from Brooklyn NY born and raised, I currently live in Rocky Mount North Carolina I've been here for a year and a half, I'm 27 I'm a poetry writer and artist. Also a Breast cancer patient I didn't get the opportunity to start modeling until after my diagnosis the end March of 2016. I never thought I was beautiful enough to be a model or have the body to be a model but it's funny how God put you in situations and showed you is so many ways that you're wrong.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
First off thank you for taking time out to chat with us over at the kings aces.

Ms Rebellious Soul The Model:
You're very welcome thank you for taking the time out to reach out to me and having time for me as well.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
Your Welcome !!!
Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in this career?

Ms Rebellious Soul The Model:
I've always been into fashion and I've always been into taking pictures whether it was behind the camera or in front of the camera I just think pictures freeze the most memorable moments and I love modeling I love being able to get a good memorable picture and know that it's going to inspire somebody so that they can say "if she can do it, so can I" I want to inspire women and young girls who feel like they're not pretty enough to do something or they don't feel like they're not what society qualifies as beautiful I want to show them that you are beautiful you can do whatever it is that you want to.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
How did you get started in Modeling?

Ms Rebellious Soul The Model:
I got started modeling honestly through Facebook LOL a photographer by the name of jay Clark actually came to me in my inbox and said "I love your pictures and I wanted to know if you would like to do a shoot with me" and I was so nervous you know I didn't know exactly what to say but he was actually very much so professional and very a nice guy. He actually saw something in me that I didn't even see and he helps me through my first shoot and gave me great advice and I am very thankful because that's how I started doing it.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this field?

Ms Rebellious Soul The Model:
My goals as a model is to inspire young girls to inspire women who feel like they can't do something because people or sources around them say they're not good enough to do it and to prove to them that you are good enough to do it, I see myself progressing in this field very well and I hope to God that I'm right because when you love doing something you have such a passion for you want to do better you want to do more and I just want to build a positive brand for plus size models because it's not easy being in the mall industry and being a plus size model and having people say "oh you can't do this" and you're doing so well at it.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
What do you hope to accomplish in modeling?

Ms Rebellious Soul The Model:
I hope to have a solid foundation as a plus size model for a career answer build a very successful brand.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
Do you have any limitations? E.g.(Nudity, lingerie, business attire)Would you model any kind of clothing at all?

Ms Rebellious Soul The Model:
Do I have a limitations I don't think I would go full-blown nude but other then that no not really as long as it's tastefully done and it's not Ronchi or untastefully done, then I'm pretty much with it.

My advice for other inspiring models is to just do it no matter what anybody tells you don't let someone's opinion distract you or define you and put you in a box of labels that you don't have to subject yourself to and just be who you want too and whatever is it you dream of doing.

The Kings Aces Magazine:
How do you prepare yourself  for a modeling shoot how do you get in your zone?

Ms Rebellious Soul The Model:
When I'm preparing for a shoot what helps me get in my zone is music that's what does it for me. It puts me in a state of mind where I can feel my poses I can feel my attitude and my facial expressions.
